Dr. Venkata Rao Yalamanchi — known as Dr. YV Rao — is a certified cosmetic, plastic and hair transplant surgeon based in Hyderabad. He earned his MBBS from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada (1986), an MS in General Surgery from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal (1990), and an MCh in Plastic Surgery from Madras Medical College, Chennai (1996), followed by a fellowship at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. He previously served as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at NIMS and as Consultant at Care Hospital, before establishing Dr. Y V Rao Clinics in 2010.
