Dr. Venkata Rao Yalamanchi, known as Dr. Y V Rao, is a certified cosmetic, plastic, and hair transplant surgeon based in Hyderabad. He earned his MBBS from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada in 1986, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in 1990, and an MCh in Plastic Surgery from Madras Medical College, Chennai in 1996. His extensive training includes a fellowship at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan.
Dr. Rao's career spans roles such as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) and Consultant at Care Hospital. In 2010, he established Dr. Y V Rao Clinics, specializing in cosmetic surgery, hair transplantation, and aesthetic dermatology.
