Laparoscopy (also known as minimally invasive) is a specialized surgical procedure. Some specialized instruments and a special camera known as a laparoscope is inserted through the abdominal wall of the patient to view the organs in the abdomen. • Operative Hysteroscopy: Hysteroscope is used to look inside the uterine cavity, unlike laparoscope which looks at the outside of the uterus. It can treat many of the abnormalities found during diagnostic hysteroscopy. Hysteroscopy allows correcting the causes of abnormal bleeding.
