Skin Peeling

The process of removing dead skin by using acids and enzymes is known as skin peeling. The effect of skin peeling is to leave behind fresh and young skin when dead skin is removed. Among the several skin peeling techniques chemical peel and CO2 laser peel are two popular treatments. Chemical peel involves the use of mild acids or strong acids or phenols depending upon the nature of skin to be treated. CO2 laser peel involves the use of CO2 laser that is scattered with high frequency on the surface of the damaged skin to get at the tissues residing at greater depths in the skin. Skin peeling is useful when treating rough skin, fine lines, wrinkles and discolored skin.
